Faith A. Anderson has joined us as Account Executive in our Philadelphia office. She comes to Monitorforhire with 17 years of successful sales experience most recently in the area of clinical staffing. Faith has had significant experience developing high-end relationships in the pharmaceutical and CRO industry and has helped hundreds of clinical professional land the right job. Her other passions include antiquing, exercising, traveling, reading and spending time with her thirteen year old daughter.

LeeAnn Collins comes to Monitorforhire.com with over 15 years sales and marketing experience, including 10 years in the medical and pharmaceutical arenas. However, CB Technologies was acquired by ViPS in 2003. The course is computer based, self-paced and FREE! After completing the course with a passing grade, you may add it to the certifications in your profile. Improve your understanding of EDC and stand out from the crowd! By definition, Electronic Data Capture must capture data. This requirement means that, in early versions, EDC software inevitably focuses on making data entry work for the investigator sites. As EDC software matures, features are added to make it easier for the CRAs and data manager to use. In subsequent versions, EDC software refines its functionality even more.

MetaTrial, from ViPS BioMedical Services, is no exception. With the current release of MetaTrial version 3.02, there are a number of enhancements for CRAs. These include:

• A Subject Viewer (home screen) that has resizable panes. This means that more of the information in the Subject Viewer can be viewable at one time.
• Within the subject viewer, the ability to jump forward and backward by 20 subjects at a time. This allows faster navigation.
• One-click navigation to any form in a visit or to any other visit, not just previous and next.
• The ability to display the audit trail, query list, or other information as the user navigates from one CRF to another.
• A report of unlocked visits. This is particularly helpful during the close out process.
• The addition of spell checking in eCRFs to reduce the number of data entry errors and subsequent data clarification queries.
• The ability to include a Drug Dictionary or Adverse Event look-up, so that fewer terms need to be coded on the back end.
• A reorganized message center that maintains manual queries in a thread and allows a whole thread to be archived (closed) in one click.

MetaTrial 3.02 is available now, and we’re looking forward to the fall release of MetaTrial 4.0. Designed with a tremendous amount of user input, it promises to be the most user-friendly, versatile EDC solution on the market.
