Organizations] until you submit your full profile

5. What is the rate charged to companies and
what percentage of that rate do I receive?
- Rates are based upon your experience, specific
needs for a project and current "market"
conditions. If you have a question regarding

- In the typical "Temp Agency" relationship,
an agency will return only 50% [or less] to
the Monitor. We have structured this service
so that the Independent Monitor derives the
most benefit for their effort. Our service will
help you to attain the most competitive rate
that corresponds with your experience.
6. How do I get paid?
- A web-based timesheet/invoice with your specific
project(s) is made accessible to you 7 days
a week 24 hours a day. This timesheet/invoice
must be completed every week Monday, by 12:00
Noon. Upon receipt of the completed timesheet/invoice
a project invoice is sent to the client every
week. At the time MonitorForHire.com receives
payment, a direct deposit will be made into
your account as noted in your profile
- You will be able to review on-line at MonitorForHire.com
the number of hours you have billed to date
by project and the amount of money earned to
date by project
- As an independent contractor, MonitorForHire.com
does not withhold Federal, State or Local Taxes.
It is your responsibility to pay all applicable
taxes

- A general non-disclosure agreement is part
of the site Terms & Conditions. When you
submit your profile for registration, you agree
to be bound by that agreement

- We cannot provide legal advice. There are
certain legal/tax implications and benefits
to incorporation, you should consult with an
attorney and tax professional to determine requirements
in the state you reside.

- Again, we cannot provide legal advice. There
are certain legal implications to being an independent
professional, you should consult with an attorney
to determine requirements in the state you reside.
12. Is there a minimum availability I must have
to register with MonitorForHire.com?
- NO, it is in your best interest however,
for you to input your availability every month
for a 12 month period by month. Your profile
will be selected on a number of criteria including
availability.
13. If I register with MonitorForHire.com and
a client chooses me for a project, do I have to
participate in their project?
- NO, a client would choose your CV based
only on preliminary information and then an
e-mail is generated by MonitorForHire.com and
sent to you asking if you are interested in
participating. If you reply no, then no further
action is needed. The client must then find
another monitor for the project

assistance using the web-site or my e-mail account
is there someone I can call or a help desk set up?
- MonitorForHire.com maintains technical support
or help for clinical monitors using the web-site
in two ways:

- Contact the PC manufacturer or software company
according to your license, warranty or service
contract. We cannot be of assistance with questions
regarding operation of your PC or software.

and the client decides to offer me a full-time position
with that company, can I take the position or am
I bound to working for MonitorForHire.com?
- YES, you can take a position with a
client, however, the client must honor the terms
and conditions of use for MonitorForHire.com.
- Sponsors, by their agreement, are obliged
to pay MonitorForHire.com [and we pay you] for
your services as long as you worked on a project
as an independent monitor.
- Sponsors will pay a fee to MonitorForHire.com
having located you through this service

18. How does the referral bonus program work?
- First, you must register and work on a project
to qualify
- If another monitor registers and indicates
your name as a referral, you will receive a
one-time referral fee of $250 paid after that
monitor works 100 hours on any project. See
the information in your registration package

19. Is there a minimum level of monitoring experience
required to register?
- Many sponsor companies have a preference for
a minimum of two years field monitoring experience.
This includes experience conducting study initiation,
site monitoring and study closeout visits. Unfortunately
we will not register monitors with less than
2 years experience.

profile and availability then conduct a telephone

- YES, multiple therapeutic groups/departments
at a single company are welcome and encouraged
to register. However we ask that once you've
found a monitor or team of monitors, you designate
one project lead from your company to manage
that team through the web-site
